Nothing Short of Fantastic
We engaged with Lifestyle Builds in 2022 for the construction of a Garage/Cottage as a secondary dwelling on a large residential section.
The entire process from initial concept/design, quoting, and onto to consenting & building completion in mid 2023; has all been managed so efficiently, effectively, and professionally.
As first-timers with a new build, there was so much for us to learn and understand. Our experiences with other potential builders/companies, while reasonably positive, still felt as though the focus was on just securing our contract - rather than achieving a final product we were happy with and within budget.
From our very first contact with KJ, we felt extremely supported with helpful advice, realistic expectations, and a clear and obvious desire to work with us on a project we were all really happy with.
KJ and Ian have been nothing short of fantastic to work with - their flexibility and availability to work through any challenges and queries we had throughout the process, the transparency of costing and scheduling, and finishing on time and on budget.
We are so pleased with the final product, and honestly can’t recommend Lifestyle Builds highly enough.

His clear communication and empathy for us as clients made any decision or change request an easy and simple process. We were always kept abreast of the build progress, timelines and the budget. Requests that we made over the course of the build were always accommodated or alternative suggestions presented which was hugely appreciated.
Building a house can be a stressful and expensive endeavour, however this was far from our experience. It is clear that KJ puts his clients at the center of how he operates and this made all the difference. The service he provided during the build process and aftercare was second to none and because of this, I would highly recommend KJ to anyone looking to build.
Should we ever build again, KJ would be our first port of call. I am happy to provide verbal references if required in addition to my written recommendation of this individual.

At all times Kj was professional and approachable. he was always available to answer any questions or to discuss ideas with us, often taking the time to have face-to-face discussions to ensure we were entirely happy with the project.
We found KJ to be innovative and accommodating, he was able to take our preliminary ideas and develop them into a modern design that was in keeping with the theme of the house and met the needs we had as a family.
KJ brought a great deal of knowledge and current practise to the building project. Easy Going, Friendly and Committed to our Project

KJ was the Project Manager who oversaw our house extension and renovation.
Right from the beginning, KJ was knowledgeable about the renovation process, systematic in his approach and alleviated any concerns we had. He contacted and dealt with all the City Council, bank, insurance, architect, builders and contractors and made sure the work progressed accordingly. He kept us informed of all discussions, decisions and next steps throughout.
We found KJ to be easy going, friendly and committed to our project. He was quick to address any issues or concerns, gave us regular updates on the project and budget, outlined all stage of the build and kept a comprehensive record of the project. KJ was so easy to work with and really made the whole process stress free for us. When something needed doing, he was on hand to make sure it happened, in our case, KJ even moved bricks himself to ensure the bricklaying could begin on schedule!
